We reinforce prior knowledge and lay the foundation for fall.
Our Summer Readiness Programs (SRPs) are designed to bridge the gap between our students’ current abilities and the curriculum demands of their upcoming school year. Tailored to the specific needs of each student, SRPs are an excellent way to build EF proficiency and ensure that students show up in the fall prepared, confident, and ready to go.
Here’s what you need to know.
So what is an SRP?
An SRP consists of 8 one hour individualized sessions that incorporate EF skills building + curriculum preparation for the upcoming school year.
Like all of our services, we start with an assessment that allows us to create a custom curriculum to meet your child’s unique needs. This includes not just subject comprehension, but also EF skills such as note taking, study strategies, and tools to overcome mental blocks and low confidence within a particular subject.
what will my child learn in an SRP?
Your child will learn the foundational basics of next year’s curriculum and the fundamental EF skills they need to engage with that curriculum. So, not just math concepts but how to study for math, take notes in a math class, and so much more.
We offer programs in:
Middle School Math, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus & higher level maths
Middle School Science, Biology, Chemistry, & Physics
Reading Comprehension (all grade levels including AP prep)
Writing Composition (all grade levels including AP prep for English, AP World History & US History)
Can you work around our summer travel plans?
We know summer is a busy time and that is why we schedule our sessions around your summer travel, camps, and other commitments. We just ask that all 8 sessions occur between May 29th and August 1st. Otherwise, we work around what’s best for you!
