So often academic support is focused on a single subject or assignment. As parents, you know that understanding the material is often not the issue for your child. It’s the fact that they do not always do their work, have inconsistent test scores, lose materials, have low motivation, and are prone to avoidance.
When smart, capable, and creative students avoid to the point of self-sabotage, causing stress at home, failing classes, and creating a cycle that is so hard to break, change needs to be holistic. That’s why we offer Executive Functioning Tutorials and Comprehensive Subject Tutorials. Through instilling strong executive functioning skills such as time management, organization, study skills, prioritization techniques, goal setting, and self-advocacy, our work will allow your child to be more academically successful, have greater confidence and accountability, and for you as a family to experience less stress.

Our unique tutorials will help your child to consistently and strategically engage with confidence. At the end of each session your child will leave with an awareness of all of their tasks (academic, extracurricular, and personal), have strategies in place that allow them to complete these tasks on time with less stress and to advocate for their needs in the classroom and at home.
We also identify long term and weekly goals that are both academic and personal in nature so that they are able to determine personal metrics of success.
Our tutorials promote a better understanding of how to prioritize and execute tasks, ensure greater personal accountability, and normalize any issues they may be experiencing (symptoms of ADHD, mental health issues, social and emotional growing pains).

Traditional subject tutoring meets executive functioning. For many students, understanding concepts is difficult because of complex material, learning differences, attention deficits, poor note-taking skills, low confidence and frustration with the subject. Our Comprehensive Subject Tutorials will ensure that your child understands the weekly material, foundational concepts, and how to approach their homework, take notes, prepare for the next class, and more. This is what makes our tutorials better.
