Our College Readiness Program removes the stress out of the college application process.

We apply our Executive Functioning methodology to the college application process so that you can navigate it confidently.

Applying to college can feel exciting yet also debilitating for students with low EF related to ADHD, ASD, anxiety, and other compounding factors. We understand that students struggling with low EF tend to procrastinate or hyper-focus when they experience stress, and these behaviors extend to college applications. It is for this reason that using strong EF strategies is critical.

Our EF approach ensures that students complete each application component on time and with confidence.

This is what makes us so unique.

First Step: Initial Phone Call

We can answer all of your questions and create the right strategy for your goals and budget.

During this initial phone call:

During your complimentary initial phone consultation, we will discuss what prompted you to reach out, where your student is at in the application process, what application support you’re looking for, and other contributing factors that may be impacting your child’s college applications (diagnoses, family dynamics, concerns about school, etc.). We will also answer all of your preliminary questions so that you feel confident to pursue next steps.

Step 2: Attend a College Readiness Consultation

This one-hour virtual consultation is designed to demystify the process and to clarify your admissions goals by:

  • Determining your child’s digital profile

  • Discussing everything that goes into an application, including required and optional application components

  • Reviewing application types and deadlines

  • Providing guidance on the college essays, including how to avoid common writing mistakes

Our goal is that after the assessment, you and your child will have all the tools needed to complete the admissions process independently. Thereafter, we can support you with as much or as little guidance as you need.

Step 3: Participate in College Readiness Sessions

After our Consultation, your child will meet with a College Readiness Specialist in hour-long sessions. During these sessions, we will:

  • Manage all the application components, such as Letters of Recommendation, Test Scores, Transcripts, and Interviews

  • Build a school list that fit a variety of factors, including academic and professional goals, social interests, and financial viability

  • Workshop Primary and Supplementary essays so that this critical aspect of the application accurately reflects your child’s voice

Your child will leave each session with a manageable and actionable plan for making progress on their applications.

The meeting frequency, pace, and focus are customized to your unique needs and budget.

I just wanted to say thank you for all your help in the college process. I was accepted into 13/15 of the colleges I applied to and I have decided to attend the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the fall. I didn’t think I’d get in anywhere, you made me feel so much better and less stressed. Thank you, I’ll let you know how it goes once I’m there!

[My son] was accepted to each college he applied to, including UT, where many of his peers were capped. I attribute that to the work you did with him!! He has chosen Hendrix and will play soccer. He is very excited which makes my heart full. Our family can’t thank you enough for what you did for us!! We are eternally grateful!!!

Encompass’ College Readiness Program celebrates your child’s individual strengths to guide them to the best college for them. They also recognize that this experience is a family affair and work to ensure that we, the parents, are also supported through this process. I was so worried that my child was going to forget something or miss a deadline. Not at all, they got everything in and were accepted to their top choice school!

[My daughter] finished her second session yesterday. After each session she is BEAMING! She has gained so much confidence partnering with you. She feels great about the approach you are taking and the progress she is making with her essay. Her entire attitude toward her essay has changed. I cannot thank you enough. I truly appreciate the partnership. Have a wonderful day.

I cannot thank you enough for your help and support. Megan was completely transformed after your first meeting with her. She gained so much confidence that she will be applying to UT Austin. Prior to your sessions with her, this was unheard of. She was adamant about not applying because she didn't feel she had a chance to get in. That has all changed. Thank you!
